Translate a Framer site

Framer takes a named script with a placement and a page selection. Add it once at the end of the body and it covers the site.

What you need

Where the snippet goes

  1. Copy your snippet

Open your site in the Verbafy dashboard and copy the embed snippet.

    Your page, before </body>
    <script
      src="https://cdn.verbafy.app/widget.js"
      data-site-id="site_abc123"
      data-api-key="pk_live_your_key"
    ></script>
  2. Open Custom Code

Open Project Settings and choose the Custom Code tab in the left sidebar. Click Add Script, or the + icon if there is already one there.

  3. Place it at the end of the body

Name it something you will recognise, such as Verbafy, and paste the snippet. Choose the end of body placement. Leave the page selection empty so it runs on the whole site, and set it to run Once. Then publish.

Worth knowing on Framer

Once, not on every page visit

Framer moves between pages without a reload, and the widget keeps watching the page, so it translates each new screen as it renders. Running the script again on every visit would start a second copy of it.

The chosen language survives navigation

A visitor's choice is remembered for your site and restored on their next visit, so they pick a language once.
